The abbreviation for administrator is sometimes written admin and at other
   times, admon.  This was common for that period.

My notes are in brackets [ ].  I hope this is of help to you.

 I am somewhat familar with this suit [or should I say suits for they
began about 1810 & continued almost to the time of the Civil War]  Duke
vs Burnley in "Hanover Co., Va. Chancery Wills & Notes by Cocke  -
somewhat transcribes this suit - but his family line-up is full of
errors"

I have added items from what I could read on your web page.  I am
related to several families here.  Keziah Redd [died Abbeville SC] - was
Keziah [Burnley] Duke Redd - her last husband was Samuel Redd of
Caroline Co - brother of my ancestor, Thomas Redd, Jr.  Keeling
Terrell's brother Fleming m a niece of my ancestor William Connor, I am
a Burnley des, etc.

I took a quick peek at your web page - I have a lot more information on
George Herring & Mary Darracott - both relatives of my ancestors..

What this means is Dr. 18 = due 18 cents to the clerk for entering the
Attorney & due 109.12 for copings the records & petition [this would be
the original petition which entered the suit]

This entire document was a supoena & this is the copy made by the clerk
as you can tell "To Joseph Allen .."

but with the J. Allen CC at the bottom - this certificies that it is a
copy of the original received by him.
