The abbreviation for administrator is sometimes written admin and at

times, admon. This was common for that period.

& petition [this would be
the original petition which entered the suit]
This entire document was a supoena & this
is the copy made by the clerk
as you can tell "To Joseph Allen .."
but with the J. Allen CC at the bottom - this
certificies that it is a
copy of the original received by him.
