Dear Mothe.

 Being as it is Sunday I will write to you I went in Mr. Youngs tin shop. And he said he would make the gutering for ten cents per foot.  I have bought me two new books.  Hististory & Grammar.  What tine did Jhon get home.  I have had my boots fired and baught a new cravat.  For I did not have a decant one to ware.  I went to a little party at Mr. Porters last night just had Mrs Winston School girls & Mr. Richardsons school boys I got auqainted with a good meny.  I hade the best tine I ever had at a party one of the girls maid a mash on me.  She is the prettest little peace of meat you evr did see now I must cloath.
