Note was written sometime between 1935-1945 to Lulu G. Auld and forwarded to Myrtle Hazelgrove:

David Timberlake had no brother Henry. His only sister died without issue and apparently all of his brothers were unmarried as he inherited all of thier property. His father was Burnett and his father was Benjamin who apparently moved unto Hanover about 1740 or 41. I have been unable to learn from what county he came. There was another Benjamin whose father was John, but I do not know the connection between the two Benjamins, if any. As you may known all but two of the Hanover County books were sent to Richmond and there burned when it was evacuated, hence any informatin is more or less guess work, which I do not accept.
