Dear husband i seat myself this blessed sabathe morning to drop you
a few lines to let you no how we are for I no you are onesay since you
heard that Jim Is dead: but i have to tell you of a nother death in the
family poor Nant left this world last Thursday she died just _____ she
left the world a leaving behind a good evidence that she was going to a
better world than this. she told us if we ever saw you to tell you for
her that she wanted you to meet her in heaven she mad every body that she
saw promise to meet her in heaven; but i am afraid that the dredfull Disese
is not done in this family yet for Sally is lying at the point of death
now with it it is the Liptheria but the rest is all well at present but
we dont no how soon we will have to leave the world an follow on after
Nant an Jim.
Sally says that she wont get well I wont you to pray to our redeemer
to preserve our lives to see you tell brother Alf an Jace an Mon that I
want them to pray for me. pray that the Lord will preserve my life an ------
to se each other in earth wone time more: I have bin mity onesay about
you since you rote that you was sick. I herd day before yesterday that
they was a going to leave over thare at the salt works. i will tell you
how i got if. Alf Sprecker rote home that they was a going to leave the
neset morning an that you was sick, and he didnt now how you would get
a way. I heard since that you are 4- miles this side ofeaten hill a comeing
back to the narrows and i pray to the Lord that is so far if you could
get back to the narrows again i would feel better satisfied I will rite
on a nother piece of paper
